2022 Christmas Parade
In honour of Mrs. Lois Snider

Main Street (from School parking lot to Steeves Street)
Following the parade, please join Santa at the Kiwanis for hot chocolate and
candy.
Help us spread some joy this holiday season! Together, we invite the community to donate non-perishable food item(s) to support local food banks. There will be a box at the Kiwanis the evening of the parade to drop off. The post office is encouraging kids to write their letters to Santa. Canada Post will have a mailbox at the Kiwanis to mail your letters the evening of the parade.

The Village of Hillsborough will be holding a commemorative event on Saturday, November 19th, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm at the Hillsborough Kiwanis Club in Hillsborough.
The event will be a celebration of 56 years as an incorporated municipality, as we transition to the new community of Fundy Albert. Please join us as we recognize the service of the many elected officials, employees and volunteers who have served our community.
Special Garbage Pick-up will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022.
A maximum of 64 cubic feet of waste will be accepted. Only 3 large cleanup items (fridge, stove, freezer, dishwasher, humidifier, washer, BBQ, couch, mattress, dresser, etc.) per household will be collected.
All yard waste must be tied and bundled in lengths no longer than 6 feet. Please securely box, bag & bundle waste.
-Tires (no more than 4 per household) must be removed from rims.
-No car parts, rocks, ashes, sand or gravel.
-No household hazardous waste, (ie: batteries, light bulbs, propane tanks, etc.)
-No construction or demolition materials such as asphalt shingles, dry wall, windows, toilets or plumbing fixtures.
Reminder: Black garbage bags will NOT be accepted. Regular household waste will also be collected on Thursday, September 29, 2022.
**Please do not place big items curbside anymore than 2 weeks before the pickup date of September 29, 2022**
